Founded in 1981, the objective of the CGRA shall be to elevate the image of women and men in the sports field of rodeo and promoting the Country/ Western lifestyle. We are the longest continuous running gay rodeo in the United States.

The Rocky Mountain Regional Rodeo (RMRR) is an event hosted by the Colorado Gay Rodeo Association (CGRA) at the National Western Complex in Denver, Colorado. The 41st RMRR will take place on July 13–14, 2024, with general admission on Saturday and Sunday. The event will include sponsors, entertainment, and other events.
